Founded in 1997, ValueLabs specializes in the delivery of dual-shore services in the areas of Offshore Software Product Development, QA / testing and KPO. With over 1400 engineers we provide services to startups, mid-sized and multi-billion dollar companies. Some of our satisfied customers include TIBCO, Snapfish / HP, Maxis, Astro, Citibank (Egypt), MakeMyTrip.com, SHPS and SpiceJet.
We’ve worked on the remote execution model right from inception and have perfected the process of onsite-offshore interaction over the past ten years. Our core strength lies in the ability to build customized teams in India for our clients and, over time, make these teams a seamless extension of the clients’ organizations. This is when our clients have been able to truly leverage all the benefits of outsourcing and off-shoring. Clients have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality of our deliverables, our scalability, process maturity, service orientation, flexibility (both in terms of team composition and engagement customization), ownership, and minimization of total cost of outsourcing as well as client overheads.
Over the years we have built a strong knowledge base around the areas of Internet / mobile / interactive TV applications, internationalization, enterprise solutions and maintenance of legacy systems. QA is a mature competence as, more often than not, we have had to take leadership in and then ownership of the QA organizations for many of our clients. Knowledge Process Outsourcing (one step ahead of Business Processing Outsourcing in that KPO firms need to have domain-based processes and business expertise, rather than just process expertise) is a growing practice, with our domain knowledge and process orientation often playing an important role in generating efficiencies. Lately, the mantra has been to become a one-stop shop for all our clients with each service area feeding into the others and the total, working out to be greater than the sum of the parts.
We have been growing rapidly right since inception, far above industry averages. This growth validates two points; that clients love our extended team engagement model and that extended teams are inherently capable of handling rapid growth. This growth keeps us on our toes, helps motivate and satisfy our employees (a reason for our low attrition) and helps us focus on doing the right things.
The parent company is based in Hyderabad / India. Companies incorporated in the US and Malaysia service the respective geographies. We have clients worldwide with about 70% business coming from the US.
Our world-class facility in Hyderabad reflects our philosophy of building competencies for clients around extended teams as well as creating an environment where our employees can truly fulfill their personal and professional aspirations. This facility is in the HITEC area of the city with neighbors like Oracle, Dell, Google and Deloitte. Built on 2 acres of land with 175,000 square feet of space, it can house 1500 people even though a fifth of the space is allocated purely for employee welfare (Gym, dorm, cafeteria, yoga / meditation rooms, sauna, etc.)
ValueLabs is certified at ISO 9001-2000 since 2004. We were assessed at SEI CMMI Level 4 in December 2005 We are scheduled for assessment at CMMI Level 5 and certification at ISO 27001 (formerly BS7799:2) by end of 2007.
