    Job Title:Probationary Engineer

    All the 150 posts are for BEL Units & Offices located in different parts of the country. The above openings are for the following locations: Bangalore (Karnataka), Ghaziabad (UP), Pune (Maharashtra), Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh) Panchkula (Haryana), Kotdwara (Uttaranchal) Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) and other offices of BEL. The postings would be done based on the Company’s requirement in a particular Unit / other Offices, based on relative merit of the candidate in the written test / viva.
    Scale Of Pay:Candidates selected against the above position, will be placed in E-II grade, at the minimum of the pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500/- . In addition, they will be entitled to DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible.

    Desired Profile:
    For PROBATIONARY ENGINEER, GEN / OBC candidates with first class in B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering Graduate from AICTE approved Colleges in Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication / Mechanical / Computer Science / Computer Science and Engineering.

    Candidates currently studying in the final semester / final year of B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc engineering and who will be taking their final semester/final year exams by June/July 2011 are also eligible to apply.
    Engineering Degree Holders in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering disciplines only from AICTE approved Colleges may only apply.
    AGE LIMIT(AS ON 01.04.2011):The maximum age limit for General candidates as on 01.04.2011 will be 25 years.

    Selection:
    Selection will be through written test and interview of shortlisted candidates based on performance in the written test.

    Candidates, whose applications are accepted through the process of submission of online applications, are eligible to attend the written test at the respective centre. The call letters will be uploaded on the website on 10.06.2011
    The written test will be held at Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Guwahati centres. Candidates should choose the test centre nearest to their place of correspondence.
    The written test will consist of Objective type questions from basic Engineering subjects in the respective disciplines / specialisations and General Aptitude. The list of candidates short-listed in the written test for interview, will be placed on the BEL website on the 1st / 2nd week of August 2011 (tentatively). They will be required to appear for an interview for final selection. The results of selection will be available on the BEL website through query mode.

    How To Apply:
    Candidates are required to enter all information correctly in the on-line application form and verify the same before submission, as changes shall not be permitted after submission of the application form.
    Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC category are required to make a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- and SC/ST/PWD candidates are required to make a DD for Rs. 200/- drawn preferably on State Bank of India, payable at SBI, New Delhi, in favour of BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED. The DD Number and MICR Number must be entered before you can proceed further.

    Send the duly completed Printed Version of Application Form having Auto Generated Application No. along with requisite amount of Demand Draft to “Post Box No: 4334, Kalkaji Head Post Office, New Delhi-110019 ” (To be sent through ordinary post only) so as to reach on or before 16-May-2011.
    Candidates are required to note down and keep a record of the auto generated Application Number that will appear after the online application format has been filled in correctly and submitted. This Number will be required for accessing, downloading and printing the written test call letter that will be placed on the BEL website on 10.06.2011 at 1400 hours.(tentative). Please note that call letters will not be sent through e-mail or through conventional mail.
